Bolster Swing

A bolster swing is a therapeutic device used in occupational therapy to enhance core strength, balance, and coordination. It features a cylindrical cushion, or “bolster,” suspended horizontally by ropes or chains. Patients straddle, lie, or sit on the bolster, engaging their muscles to maintain balance while the swing moves. This movement stimulates the vestibular system, aiding in sensory integration.
